saw Soulive this afternoon and saw The Bad Plus this evening.

can i say that the Bad Plus is the best jazz band there is today. They were out of this world incredible. i mean the drummer used ET dolls to make crazy noises to finish the set. you can't top that. not even with icing.

Hey - I can't remember where I saw your journal - stencling community maybe? Hope it's OK I added you.

YOu might be into my friend's band Maroon - rock influenced jazz. They've gotten a lot of critical aclaim.

hey thanks for the heads up ill be sure to check them out. ive been trying to listen to more various jazz bands, and anything helps.
